Louis Gervais’ very own Bistro was recently transformed into the perfect spot for a 60th Birthday bash… and let’s just say it was one amazingly memorable catering event close to home!
Our patio recently transitioned for a special night of celebration and set the stage for a surprise 60th birthday party for one very happy lady.
Organized by the guest of honours husband and daughter, we had fun curating and catering a selection of menu offerings featuring passed appetizers and amuse bouche before a family style dinner was served. Taste buds were tantalized with items such as our Smoked Salmon Rosettes (dill cream cheese & crispy fried capers on a chilled cucumber coin), Vanilla Chili Chicken (sweet chili chicken infused with vanilla bean on a jasmine rice cake – gluten free), Beef Tenderloin & Asiago Piccatta Sticks (thin strips of tender beef crusted with shredded Asiago cheese), assorted charcuterie and cheese platters and favorites like our signature Beet Diceand Firecracker Prawns.
Adding to this culinary mix (and perhaps helping fuel a bit of dancing), we blended up the birthday girl’s favourite drink: Lime Margaritas!
The surrounding trees and greenery were swathed in twinkling lights creating a warm ambiance and music wafted onto the patio where everyone danced the night away.
Fun was had by all who attended (and especially the birthday girl, of course) whose daughter had this to share: “I just wanted you guys to know again how happy I was with everything, it was an incredible night!” – Jasmine
