Louis Gervais Fine Foods Anniversary Party – 15 Years of Haute Cuisine
by Louis Gervais / In Events, News & Media
On Thursday, September 26th, the team here at Louis Gervais Fine Foods & Catering, along with 180 other event rock stars, came together to celebrate our Champagne Anniversary – 15 years of Haute Cuisine! It was an evening of laughter, flowing wine, and delicious treats for all to enjoy.
Chef Louis took a few moments to reminisce about his experiences over the last 15 years; he spoke of back alley kitchen parties and gourmet meals served on barges floating in the Pacific Ocean. He acknowledged the many talented chefs and planners he’s worked with along the way, and of course the diverse group of clients he’s had the pleasure of feeding. “It’s always an adventure” he laughed, “you get to meet a lot of interesting people!”
And it’s true! It’s one of the wonderful things about this business – you get to meet so many different people and contribute to their celebrations. Whether it’s a wedding, a birthday, a launch, or an anniversary, we all come together to celebrate life’s milestones and achievements. As a caterer, we get to make those moments all the more memorable and we were happy to celebrate our own anniversary with such delightful guests.
Thank you so much to everyone who joined us, and especially those who played a part in making this possible.
To the Vancouver Art Gallery for hosting us on their gorgeous Rooftop Pavilion, to Pedersen’s for providing us with all our Event Rentals, to Judy of Papier by Judy for designing all our event stationary, to Paulo at Audio Edge for keeping the party going, and to TapSnap for their Photobooth fun, especially Claire for her ongoing support. Also a big thank you to Everything Wine for coordinating our wine and champagne toast, to Olives on Tap for showcasing their artisan products, and to Central City brewing for contributing to our bar selection. Last, thank you so much to Gloria of the Flower Factory for coming to the rescue with their beautiful floral arrangements, and to Chris and Gina from Butter Studios Photography for their continued support and these stunning photos.
