UBC Boathouse

The UBC boathouse is everyone’s favourite venue, especially when it comes to tying the knot! With its floor to ceiling windows with stunning panoramic views, surrounding 3000 sq. foot of useable space, this event hall makes for a very unique and ideal setting for wedding events. This turn key venue is also home to a gorgeous outdoor barge which is the perfect place for your nuptials, followed by cocktails and drinks. Do come prepared though! This venue can get very hot during the sizzling summer months. Offer your guests a double-duty hand-held fan with a printed itinerary or love story on them. Your friends and family will thank you!

London Heritage Farms

London Heritage Farm is a four acre historical site that overlooks the south arm of the Fraser River. This venue hosts beautiful, rustic, and natural weddings and casual events that can accommodate up to 250 people. The site offers an 1880?s farmhouse, a restored barn, a museum with old farming equipment, a chicken coop, bees nests, bunnies, and large lawn spaces for receptions and ceremonies. The park-like setting is designed like an English country garden where there is always something in bloom including herbs, berries, bushes, bulbs, vines, and trees. Your guests can wander and enjoy the historical tourist attractions during a cocktail hour and then sit down to a vintage candle lit dinner before partying away under the stars. Their smaller tea rooms hold up to 25 guests and are great for birthday parties, showers, and meetings.
