Last Wednesday, Elisa, Nicole, and Louis had the pleasure of hosting 30 of the most talented and inspirational Vancouver wedding industry members at a High Tea networking event presented by Jasalyn Thorne. Poor Jasalyn herself was unfortunately unable to make it due to a flu that kept her bed bound, but the rest of us came to mix and mingle, and send Jasalyn healing vibes from our North Vancouver Bistro Venue.
Chef Louis treated us all to a traditional British High Tea afternoon snack which included the following sweets and treats….
Traditional Cucumber Tea Sandwich
with whipped butter
Maple Cured Salmon Pinwheels
with herb cream cheese
Crab Curry Salad
fresh dungeness crab with a hint of curry
fresh sliced roast beef with horse radish creme fraiche
Petits Scones with Fresh Preserves
house made white chocolate scones topped with Chef’s country style
fresh raspberry preserve & clotted cream
assorted macaroons flavors
Tropical Fruit Pavlova
kiwi and mango meringue tartlets with French custard
Lemon Curd Tartlets
flaky pastry shells filled with a tart lemon filling and garnished with a fresh berry
Assorted Fruit & Berries
sliced melons, sweet grapes, and plump raspberries
Thank you so much to all the Vancouver wedding vendors, planners, photographers, and artists who were able to join us for a beautiful afternoon event. We’re looking forward to seeing you at the next event!
