Breakfast: All Day, Errr Day!

One of the newest trends we’ve seen emerging into the Vancouver wedding catering sphere is that of all-day breakfast: breakfast for dinner, breakfast canapés, bacon on everything! Here at Louis Gervais Fine Foods & Catering, we love breakfast! Our neighbours on Harbourside Drive can all contest to Chef Louis’ morning skills in the kitchen, where we regularly feature a daily frittata, house made pastries (that White Chocolate and Raspberry Scone is to die for), assorted wraps and quiches. Breakfast is, after all, the most important meal of the day, so why not pay tribute for any and all occasions?

Well we did just that recently for a Vancouver wedding that we catered with Kiri McLeod of Dream Group Productions. Her clients wanted to showcase everything breakfast for their buffet dinner feeding 150 of their closest friends and family. Together, Chef Louis, Nicole and Kiri created a delectable custom catering menu, that also accommodated all of their Gluten-Free and Vegan guests! It was the perfect mix of West Coast Vancouver meets Southern grit.
